The South’s business leaders gather for exclusive event at new luxury marina hotel

Over 90 of the region’s top business leaders attended exclusive Business South Directors Dinner at the newly opened Southampton Harbour Hotel

Over 90 of the South’s CEOs and business leaders attended an exclusive networking dinner, hosted by Business South and Blake Morgan, at the newly opened luxury spa hotel, Southampton Harbour Hotel on Thursday 9th November 2017.

This high-profile event celebrated Business South in its 10th year of making a difference across the South Central region.

Business South was established in 2007 to be the independent representative of businesses in the South of England, to unite businesses, to gain strength from this collaboration, and to use it to make a difference to both individual organisations and to the wider economy.

Business leader attendees heard from guest speakers including Matt Hale, Academy Manager, Southampton Football Club and Jim Murray, Co-Founder of The Murray Parish Trust.

Speaking on attracting, nurturing and retaining talent, Southampton FC’s Matt Hale is currently in his fifth season as Academy Manager. He is also Chair of the Academy Management Team and sits on the Technical Board.

Jim Murray, actor and Co-founder of The Murray Parish Trust, shared the children’s charity’s latest developments of its 2 Million Steps campaign. The charity is close to reaching the million milestone in its nationwide appeal to build a state of the art, children’s emergency and trauma department.
